Everything works perfectly fine unless I launch certain games or try to unlock fps on some games that do work. Once I unlock fps, launch a game that's more stressful on my GPU, or try to run a GPU stress test program my monitor will immediately lose signal until I restart my PC. If I'm just using a browser or playing a very low impact game it never loses signal.

I've tried changing power settings, using different cables, reinstalling windows, installing new drivers, and reverting to old drivers but nothing worked. It doesn't seem like an issue with overheating because MSI after burner only shows a temperature of 50 C before losing signal and the resting temperature is only ~33 C. I have a corsair AX 760 power supply that has worked fine for 2 years so I doubt low power is an issue unless it suddenly crapped out.

Before this, I had another issue where I would constantly get a black screen with a big white bar and a bunch of colored dots above it right after my bios and windows loading screen. It still occasionally happens when resetting my PC after it loses signal.

I have a 980 ti. Cable is fine, I just bought it a few days ago. Tried using another PCI slot, still getting the same problem.

You said you tried different cables. Can you please clarify which cables and which connections on the GFX card. On a side note, new and fine don't walk hand in hand.

Open your Nvidia Control Panel. Click on help. Enable Debug mode. Play one of your more demanding games that you know have caused an issue. Same issue?

How old is the Ti?

Have you used HwMonitor or HwInfo64 to watch your voltages. I'm looking at you +12V rail. Have you went to your BIOS's health section and seen your +12V's voltage reading? It should be at or very close to 12V and never under.

I've tried using HDMI and DVI. I know the HDMI works because my PS4 has no issues when connected to the same monitor.

Debug mode didn't work.

I've had the 980 ti for 2 years, but it's been used a lot.

Can't find anything about voltage or a health section on my BIOS. HwMonitor shows 11.176 for the +12V.

11.176 V for the +12V rail is a HUGE red flag. That sounds like a PSU issue.

I had a similar issue. Loooong story short? TV died and problem persisted after 2nd TV. Same brand new HDMI used with both. BUT they each dealt with the bad cable in a different way. One would occasionaly say no signal. The other would occasionally have this weird black and red "snow" that looked like banding on lower quality monitors. A new cable fixed it.

Have you tried different HDMI 1.4 Cables?

Debug mode didn't work? Meaning you enabled it and played a game and it crashed or Debug mode can't be enabled. Specifics..... With that large of an investment.

None of the HDMI cables I've used have worked.

Debug mode was enabled but I still lost signal immediately like before.

So should I get a new power supply then?

That number should be at or very near 12.000 volts and should never be under it. 12.031? Nice. 12.381 a little too high. Above that? Not nice at all. I'd be on the horn with the manufacturer. It's falling well short of its designed specs. With what I am seeing the PSU needs to be replaced by the manufacturer if it's still under warranty and replaced by you if not.

I'm a bit confused. You say you can't find the +12V in the BIOS? IT may be a regular 12V but fall under GFX voltage or something. Odd that you can't find voltage info like that. Same would apply to RAM and CPU voltages. Was it a quick glance around? Cursory or in depth? I prefer to have confirmation. You didn't offer any specs so I can't help there. Listening to one program can be a bad thing.
