Good day Tom'shardware, i again coming here because i am stuck again in a problem. I brought an Motherboard, Msi 760gm-p23 fx. I plugged everything in and the First problem was that he did not gave video out, it was running but the screen was black. Second time of an restart there was a 4 beep. (System Timer Failure)...

After a couple of hours i figured out the problem was coming From stick 2 at rams. When i take out the ram from stick 2 (kingston 2gb,1333) then the computer was running, and working everything. There was no other problems. But still its makes me still interesting whats the problem with the stick 2.

After again some hours i read i should lower the Fan cooler. I was thinking okey, what sort of work has to do with that of the ram stick. Anyway i said i plug out a Fan and i try it so. Once i did this i put the ram back to stick 2, and it was reading it. It was working, He detected aswell the stick 2 everything was working well, till 1 restart. After that restart it did again the problems, Stick 2 again not working and now even if i plug out a fan or try to switch between system fan and cpu fan... Its still the same problem.

After this i was thinking the motherboard is ok, is working, only need to figure out something. My question is: What should i do now? what should be the main problem then.. Ty again that i can count on your help here.

Greetings Andreas

1) What cpu did you have?
2) How many sticks did you have?
3) Do you test the RAM one by one with MemTest86 http://www.memtest86.com/download.htm because the RAM may have problem.
3) Because you had more than two, do they have the same specifications? like the timing/speed. If they are not the same you will get the problem like that, which is common problem when you mixed the RAM. And you may try to boot into the BIOS, manually set the RAM timing, voltage, etc. After that, you still may or may not solve the problem.

1) AMD Athlon II x3 460
2) I have only 2 slots for rams
3) Yes i did test the rams, they work fine.
3) The rams are the same, not even 1 is other. all Same

However, the pc works, there is no problem, The Main problem is only that i cant get using the stick 2. If i take from stick 1 the RAM out, and put it in Stick 2, Is still says there is a problem, The 4 beep comes and after it goes Black and want me to Recover BIOS.

"BIOS recovery Rquested. Starting BIOS recovery"

My BIOS is updated to the last what they gave out in 2015 (https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/760GM-P23-FX.html#down-bios)
Even if i put the USB in, there is a BIOS file aswell inside the usb (USB Formated to fat32), It found the Device and its starts to search for BIOS file, BUT its stucks there, its searching but not finding The BIOS File. i let it search more then hours and no, still nothing. I did update Manually From Bios aswell (M-FLash)... Everything was okey... Only this one i dont understand why is doing it.

And as i said, when i Pluged out 1 Fan, and after that i put the Second ram in Stick 2, it was recognize and in My Computer it was Showing i have the 4gb Ram. But after an reset, The problem was coming again, and now its not helping if i plug a fan out...

UPDATE: sry i miss writed the rams, they are not 1333, they are both 1600 mhz.....

I did aswell something, i take down from my MAIN pc my 4gb CORSAIR 1600 mhz, and put in stick 2. There was no beep and no video (black screen)... and there was not even asking for recovery BIOS, as at 2gb when i put.... So dunno but its really annoys me
