Hello community,
Hope you can help with this one.
Which heatsink is better to overclock with on Ryzen 5 1400 or a 1600 to hopefully get it to 4.0 ghz- Be Quiet Shadow Rock Slim or Shadow Rock 2.
Do the dimensions play a big factor in cooling by which I mean the increased height of shadow rock slim or the increased girth of the shadow rock 2.
Also which fan to use for the chosen heatsinks mentioned above; would a Corsair High Static Pressure fan make a difference on high rpm, thus achieve better cooling than the stock Be Quiet fan.
One more thing... what about push pull and which fans should I use?
All answers are welcomed and thanks in advance.

Hey there! Thanks a lot for your reply. any ideas on what temps I can reach say on average, with Ryzen 5 1600 running at 3.8-4.0 GHz on an Asus b350, or msi b350 board? Ambient temps can get around 25-27 degrees celsius, w/o air conditioning.

Hey guys, I've checked out some youtube videos and they used the shadow rock 2 cpu cooler for only mild overclocks, so will this cooler with a more powerful fan like the silent wings 3 really be able to cool the Ryzen 5 1600 cpu at 4.0GHz?

I've taken a look at dark rock 3 and it actually costs less to buy this than Shadow Rock 2 with SW 3 fan and height is good as well (160mm). But I was wondering how a hyper 212 evo with push pull setup would perform, I would think that it would be less quiet haha. But there is a lot of value for its price as well. Do you know how well it would perform in this scenario. I've heard great things from legendary EVO, but have also heard of only moderate overclocking potential. Thanks again for your advice
