hello,
So i need help with buying a graphics card to my system that doesnt even have one.
this is the system:
Cpu: intel pentium E5700 dual core 3.00GHz
Memory: 2gbytes ddr3(my system is 32bit but i found out that it supports 64 bit )
no graphics card
powersupply: 400W
( i dont have the money to upgrade anything else besides gpu and ram )

I was thinking about buying a Gtx 750 ti Will it bottleneck ?and if its not a good idea to buy that could you guys help me get the best suited graphics card?
should i upgrade or throw my system out the window?
THANKS for your time and help <3

Solution
First, I would install 64-bit Windows. then I would get more RAM. Then finally add a GPU. A 750 Ti should do, but it will possibly cause frustration.

If possible get a new mobo/ram/cpu and upgrade your machine. Keep the case and hard drive and power supply. Never throw a full computer away unless you have no choice (i.e. fire).

You will not see a huge improvements. Framerates will still be low. Unless you plan on playing in low settings. It isn't going to get you the best quality...not sure if that's what you into. If you are in to playing BF1, just forget about it.

Again, instead of upgrading, a complete overhaul should be done.

You have an old dual core CPU. With 4gb, 64 bit Windows, and a videocard you will be able to play some older games. I'm talking Half Life 2 era games. Portal, TF2, games on that level. Some less demanding newer games will also run.

That being the case, I'd get the least expensive videocard I could, that's still a gaming card. An AMD HD 7750 would be a choice on the low end of the price range. A 750 Ti is a good choice on the higher end of the price range.
