Last night i unplugued my xbox 360 controller.Today when i was going to play the witcher 3 i realised that the controller wasn't working.None of the lights are on.When i conect the controller the lights turn on for a second and then they turn of.It's the controller than you can find on amazon with an USB port.IT's not the wireless controller

Try the controller on another computer or Xbox.
Try another controller on the PC via the same port.
Narrow the problem down to the controller or the host.
Could be that the plug/cable was damaged when you unplugged the controller.
Or possibly even the port.
