So I have two CPUs I've tried that are 1155 one is a Xeon 1230 v2 and the other is an i3 2100. I've tried like 3 boards now ,ASRock ASRock and Intel. Don't think the brands matter tho . But anyways CPUs get hot components turn on ,no post. But even when I take the cmos battery out the same thing is happening, I even cleared the cmos. I even took out ram and I get no beeps or anything like that. This is my third mobo and I just don't understand what the problem could be I just want to game and I'm tired of crying in my corner alone.

Hmmm power supply could be the culprit I got it tested but everything came back as fine ... What makes you believe that the psu is the villain here though

I'm just trying to eliminate all the untested variables. Considering you have tried two different CPU's 3 different boards and multiple RAM sticks, the PSU seems to be the only core component left.

Also what motherboards did you try? Are they compatible with the Xeon?
