I purchased a new seagate firecuda hybrid drive a couple weeks ago, installed windows, and everything ran fine for a couple days, until I woke up to my computer telling me it was missing boot files. So I tried a complete reformat, and now I just can't get windows 8.1 or windows 10 to complete an install. windows 10 did finish an install, but when it attempts to load into windows I get blue-screened or a black screen with nothing on it.

EDIT: I'd like to add also that after I tried reformatting with the windows 8 disc, I decided to clean it using the diskpart commands as I thought it would ensure a clean drive. When windows 8 still didn't work, I decided to just try an entirely new OS (win 10.) But it's giving me the same error codes and I can tell there is something still installed on the drive, probably from the first windows 8 download in which a file was corrupt, and it's now not letting me reformat or download windows 10. do I need to completely nuke the drive without using windows or windows commands? if so, how?

Sounds like electronic infant death syndrome (bad drive, most electronics fail with a week or two or go to normal MTBF which is typically longer than hardware is used. Contact Seagate.
