Unusually low FPS on non demanding games - GTX970 SLI

Very recently I have noticed a large drop in fps when playing relatively non-demanding games such as League of Legends.
I use a 144Hz monitor and usually v-sync to that.
Before when I ran uncapped I would get well over 350fps and stay at a constant 144fps when v-sync. Recently however I am struggling to get over 100fps.

I think there may be something wrong with my system but I am unsure if this is reflected in the benchmarks I have run.

Here is my current set up since I haven't updated my profile yet:

Any thoughts on why I would be struggling with this setup?

Thanks in advance, Kormak23.

Ok sir. League of Legends is a specific game that will not run at 300 fps. It's a game that requires either a not as fast card as you have or lowering the overall quality as your gpu turns into a low power mode and you need to overclock it in msi afterburner to get higher fps. I recommend turning down the settings and you will get a better results. Keep in mind I have a gtx 1070 and also getting 100 fps. :)

The sli might be also the problem but not in this game.
