Hey guys, a friend gave me a Patriot spark 120gb in order to format it. I tried every possible way, through windows 7 & 10, I made it external an I tried to format it through disk management. No chance, it always says at the end of every process, "unable to format", and if I connect him with USB, every PC shows the normal partition and the system reserved partition. It has windows 7 and all the files of my friend. He needs format cause he had serious windows issues and blue screens, the disk is not more than 6 months old, so he asked me to format and update to windows 10 but something is happening, I haven't seen it before. I was thinking if there are any third party programs to format the disk and not receive the message "the disk is being used". Any advice or ideas? Thank you in advance.
