So I'm building a computer and I got all the parts
Part list: (https://pcpartpicker.com/user/davidlalade1051/saved/)
The cooler says that it is compatible with lga 1151 but I can't seem to find what backplate will go on the motherboard help, please?

Solution
That liquid cooling, closed loop cooler (CLC) or All-in-one (AIO) not really what's considered 'water cooling' which is usually a reference to the full custom loop designs.

As such, AIO's come complete with everything you need to install one, that includes fans, mounting hardware, and the particular brackets and backplate necessary for both AMD and Intel motherboards.

Do you know which backplate I would use for this motherboard the manual doesn't say?

No sorry, there should only be 2, one for AMD and one for Intel, so only 1 of them should fit on your board.
