When I install my graphic drivers I get a stop 0x00000116 error when rebooting.

I've reformatted my hard drive and when I try to install my graphics drivers I get the blue screen of death with a message telling me it's a 0x00000116 error. I know this is a graphics error and I've removed the drivers (in window's safe mode) and reinstalled over and over but every time I have drivers installed I get the same blue screen during start up. I have a Nvidia GeForce 590 card and I'm using Windows 7. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That card uses A LOT of power. So how's your power supply? Is it as old as the card?

Yeah, I bought them at the same time but it seems to be holding up fine.

Have you tried installing it through geforce experience? Like installing only the geforce program, then selecting update driver in geforce. This has fixed a lot of my driver related issues in the past

Yes, I've installed through GeForce experience but I get the same boot up error Everytime the drivers are installed. When the drivers are removed the error goes away.
