Good Cheap Ereader to Read PDFs?

For studying i get PDF files from educational organizations online, even PDFs of books online or amazon kindle books i bought. I need a cheap ereader that support pdf files where i can study for long periods of times and is easy on the eye. any suggestions.

@okcnaline planing on getting a surface but i am looking for something cheap that doesn't mess with my eyes so much.

I read the blog but the best recommendations are expensive with the worst reviews :S
