Need help in ram upgrade

i have dell inspiron 3647 small desktop

it has Samsung 4gb ddr3 1600mhz ram and it has 2 slots of ram and one is empty so im thinking to add corsair 4gb ddr3 1600mhz ram

Corsair ram has 1600mhz,1.5v,11-11-11-30

samsung ram has 1600mhz,1.5v,11-11-11-28


will it work ?

"will it burn or anything" - No.
Because voltages are the same, there's pretty much no chance of anything burning unless there is already existing damage.

Best case: everything will work 100% at the faster clock speed.
Likely case: everything will work 100% at the lower clock speed. You may need to swap the ram around if it does not work first time as the motherboard will possibly try the speed of the first stick it finds.
Rare case: the two ram modules will not work together.

It's only the last timing which is different between the two sticks: tRAS. In theory, the samsung stick should run with tRAS at 30.

yes it should, the motherboard normally will use the worst clock. There is a very small chance it might conflict since its a different brand, but you should not worried too much about it. Just make sure its has money back warranty in case it conflicted.

Make sure to clean the unused slot ram, its old.

what type of conflict can it cause will it burn or anything coz there is no return on ram from where i bought
