What should i upgrade my graphics card to?

so i was thinking about making an upgrade to my PC, getting a new graphics card to be exact but i have never really done anything like this so i ask for help here, and these are my specs:
AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor
8 GB RAM

So after looking around on the internet for a bit, i've found that your CPU
is similar in performance to my Athlon X4 760k. In that case, for a new GPU in the
$100-150 range, go for an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 or GTX 1050ti. If you
want a cheaper Graphics card, You can buy the RX 460 or 560 for around $90-100.
These should run pretty well, and you would definitely see a performance boost.
