ok guys, i've a problem. i've been recently having some difficulties playing games. for example i start to play overwatch ... if i run the game with 60 fps, it will crash and give the error "the render device has been lost". i've started to monitor the gpu stats and noticed its overheating and when it reaches 90'C, it crashes (most of the time, it also had crashed around 85'C). most of the time it gives black screen and give notification that graphic's card driver restarted. i've tried to run 3dmark to check if the graphic card is doing fine but it also crashed giving me the error "DXGI call IDXGISwapChain::SetFullscreenState failed". unfortunately i don't own the advanced version of 3dmark to run other tests.

GPU temperatures are : Idle => 44'C , Gaming => up to 90'C

my PC devices are:
M.B: Asus H81-Plus
CPU: Intel Core i5 4460 3.2 GHz
Ram: 4Gb 1333 MHz
HDD: 500Gb WD
Graphic Card: Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce GTX 550ti 1Gb
Windows 7, 64bit

so what causes the problem? how can i solve the problem? any help is much appreciated. thanks in advance.

The card may just be a bit too old to handle newer games. However, can you try to game leaving the panel open? I know you don't want to, but it's a theory to see if air flow is casuing the issue.
Well, you are using a very old card. Is the fan spinning when it gets hot? You need to try and monitor the fans. With a low-end car like that, I feel like it's using 100% of it's resources very quickly, but inefficiently, especially by today's standards.

well, i know that but currently can't afford a new card :|
fan is spinning alright, but it shows 2500rpm on 100% speed. is it ok or too low? perhaps changing the fan would help?
