Hello
I do own a AMD R7 240 200 Series Video Card and i do want to overclock it.
I have installed MSI Afterburner and Kombustor to test the video card at the maximum potential of overclocking.
Maximum Overclocl settings:
Around 16 fps in Kombustor with the settings : 20% Power Limit, 1000Mhz Core Clock, 1170Mhz Memory Clock and 100% Fan Speed.
I have a sharpened sense of hearing and i can hear the GPU making some noises which i think they are not pleasant, to describe the sound it makes, it sounds exactly like you are pushing the button of a E-Cig.( Vape Cigarette, anyway, hope you know what i meant )
and i`m certainly afraid to let it at the current settings, because i`m thinking it might melt, or blow or catch fire because the temperature will surely rise.
Please, if you can give me any configuration that might work and still get a decent amount of fps out of it, let me know.
Also, i`m afraid to let Kombuster run for a long amount of time because the temperature is rising pretty fast.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thank you in advice .

A silent GPU is not meant to be overclocked. The memory on the motherboard does not have anything to do with what is on the card, they are totally independent.

Thank you for your response, sir.
My GPU has a silent-cooling, it has no fan.
I saw the R7-250X multiple times, saw it in action quite a few times, i`ll take your response in consideration.
I have only one question to ask you. Will a DDR3 motherboard go well with a DDR5 GPU ? Will it work?
