So I came into a few bitcoins and decided to spend them on a shiny new 1050 Ti. Problem is, it barely performs any better than my old GTX 670 (maybe 5% - 10% better.) The 1050 Ti does bring some benefits - double the VRAM, lower power bills and the shorter PCB frees up a sorely needed drive bay. The GTX 670 is also showing signs of age - one of the DVI ports stopped working. And it may be wishful thinking, but there seems be less stutter. But I hate having spent the equivalent of $135 on a 5% bump in framerates.
Do the readers here think that the benefits I outlined above are worth the price? If not, what is Newegg's return policy on items purchased with Bitcoins? Would it be subject to a restocking fee seeing that it's perfectly functional?
