Currently I am having an issue with MSI Afterburner not automatically updating my fan speeds. Now I have set a fan curve, enabled user defined software, and also set to automatic control. The problem does not appear to be in the settings. When I have the MSI Afterburner window open and clicked on it works just as it should. However, when I click on a different window such as a game, or anything for that matter, the fan speed becomes static despite the temperature increase. The automatic feature only works if I am currently in the main MSI Afterburner application window.

Notes:
-Drivers are up to date
-Old drivers have been cleared
-I did a fresh installation of MSI Afterburner

System:
Windows 7
Gigabyte GTX 1060 (GV-N1060WF2OC-6GD 6GB )
Z97-Machine
i5 4690K
16g RAM

I've had odd issues with it in the past as well... The current version seems to be autoloading the fan profile I set. I am looking in the CCleaner Tools / Scheduled Tasks and can see the entry for the MSI Afterburner there... Can you verify that the startup entry is present? I've not TS'd it enough to know if there is a secondary setting to get it to load a specific Saved Profile beyond the setting it looks like we both have...

The startup entry is there according to CCleaner. Any other thoughts?

After a series of tests, I found that the fan speeds are in fact updating with the temperatures. I set a fan curve of (30C, 0% fan) to (35C, 100% fan) to test for a quick update on Valley Benchmark. Within about 2 seconds of running the benchmark, the fan speeds bumped up from 0% to 100% as I had set. What is weird is that even though the program is executing as it should in respect to the fan curve, it is not automatically updating in the MSI Afterburner window until clicked on. Everything else I can see, such as the GPU temp, is updating. Either way, the fans are in fact updating regardless of what the window is showing when I am looking at it on my other monitor.
