Hello all,
I am looking to build a gaming pc for around 400 euros (Hungarian pricing), but I haven't been looking at the market for years (since I built my old pc about 5 years ago). I want it to run Witcher 3, so using that as a condition, I have come up with this so far.

CPU: AMD FX-8350
MB: ASRock 970 Extreme3
RAM: Kingston Hyper-x Fury 1x8gb
GPU: SAPPHIRE Radeon rx560 Pulse

I am really worried about getting a bad PSU, and I don't know what I am looking for there. I have bad experience with my previous build with overheating (same processor, fx7970 GPU with a 450W PSU... works for 2 years, then this summer it goes crazy and dies every 2 hours...).
Also to do with this, I'm afraid that getting the wrong case would result in bad heat management, so perhaps a few low-budget case suggestions?
Anything else I should be looking for?
All help is much appreciated.

Solution
I wouldnt suggest the old FX with AM3+. Get a AM4 so new CPU's will be avalible over next 4~6 years.

True that.
I dont see a storage there so might be a bit higher than 400€ mark.

Obviously not as good but you have the storage and around 400e

Yep the OP never requested one. I just wonder if the 7970 is still good. Its an equal to my R9 280 and faster than the rx560. The GPU would need a 550w so I would think the 450w PSU is whats bad. May be worth getting ths PSU first to test the old video card.

I have literally built a few 8350s with that 970 and a 990 model (200 bucks) with great success, but everyone is suggesting large upgrades with Ryzen so you will be in the clear for the next few years.
I would suggest a fully modular PSU 80+ ceritfied. If you keep having issues with PSU's chances are you aren't keeping your case clean and probably should invest in compressed air and clean regularly.
I think the cosair will have better heat management but you have to pay a little more. Most likely if you're having heat issues it's because you're simply not cleaning out your PC enough.

A 560 is a bit of overkill if you're going with an 8350 because you're not going to get the performance out of it anyways - it bottle necks.

For about 250 the 8350 + 990 series mobos make a great upgrade without having to completely go full Ryzen.

For about 500 euros you can get a good build that will last you for a few years.

I think I might go with this one. It is a bit over-budget, but looking around it seems Amazon Germany puts a few more euros on the price compared to Hungary. Comes to about 440 euros like this. Not convinced about reducing the GPU to 2gb instead of 4, but I think that's the easy part of it all. I have a leftover WD Blue 500gb HDD,from a year back, so luckily that keeps my budget down.

And thank you Faike as well, I think following your advice I can keep the old pc up for a few more years too.
