First thing to say is that this is not a new pc. I've had this one for months.
Last night I was using it when suddenly it just cut out, when I tried to boot it back up all my fans and all my leds powered on but it would not post
I spent a bit of time trying to figure out why and I disconnected and reconnected power, ram, cleared cmos and then I got into Windows, but within a minute it cut out on me again and I have not been able to replicate that.
My motherboard isn't showing any q-code errors either just 00.
My specs are:
6700k
Maximus VIII Hero mobo
850w Silverstone strider silver pay
1x16gb ddr4
I suspect the powersupply to be the culprit but I don't have any other parts to test with and I don't want to spent a lot of money on a new psu if that is not the problem. If anyone could help me identify the problem i would be ever so grateful
