Hey, I have an EVGA GTX 1070 Superclocked GPU. I haven't overclocked yet since its already overclocked by default settings.
I'm playing Overwatch and its chilling around 76-77 degrees. Fan speed is at 100%. Is this normal? Too hot?
I downloaded MSI Afterburner and checked the clock and its 1950-1960mhz. Is this too much?

You can push your temps a fair bit further. anything south of 90C is ok so as not to damage your chip but ideally you want to stay below 84C because the GPU will begin to throttle at said temp. You GPU should be able to get a boost speed somewhere in/near/just past the 2GHZ range which your close to now. My GTX 1080s topped out at 1923mhz boost with a max boost of 2075mhz (I live in hawaii though so I am fighting the local ambient temp which is fairly high year round, I go any higher and i bust the 84C mark and my GPU throttles). So you already have me beat assuming the 1960mhz is your boost speed and not your max boost. Max boost can only be seen by running GPUz in tandem to a benchmark like timespy or firestrike. You can check your...

I agree 77c wont harm the card, but I would expect it to do much better than 77c at 100% fan speed. Is afterbuner saying the fans are at 100%? As for clock speed, the higher the better assuming its stable, 1960mhz is fine it can likely go a bit farther with a manual overclock.

You can check your max boost speeds on the sensor tab under GPU clock. Just run your cursor to the bar graph after the benchmark runs and see what your max mhz is when the graph is maxed out. It can also help you see if your GPU is throttling back in speed. Very helpful when OCing a GPU to find your OC sweet spot whether it is temp related or the GPUs max stable frequency.
