Hopefully someone can help me, I'm trying to decide what to do about a pc I have. I've upgraded everything on it over the past couple of years but the CPU is just too far out of date to make it useful anymore. The main problem I'm having is just an old mob, not sure what options are available with regards to CPU upgrades with it. I tried googling but honestly I'm more confused than when I started.

Can someone who's not a complete idiot like me let me know what my options are. I'm a very casual gamer, I always play even older games on min specs because I honestly don't care about graphics. I'll just build a new PC eventually but for now I was hoping there was a decent CPU upgrade that would extend the life of this pc for now. I'd rather not spend a lot of money considering the age of the pc if that's possible.
Other specs:
6gb DDR3
ASUS R9 270
(If anyone is curious the main reason for upgrade is to try PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds, the CPU cant run it currently. All the other games I play run just fine.)
