Hello.

So, when summer heat started to affect my room temperature, my Intel stock cooler started to get noisy. After few weeks, I was starting to get enough of that noise.

So, I ordered
SilentiumPC Fera 3 HE1224 v2. I've heard it's a great cooler.

I was so pumped up by the fact that my PC would be more silent than ever, but well, my computer wont turn on.

My mobo has the green LED, and also the network cable is lit up.

I installed the cooler excatly the same way as in the installation guide, but no.

I spreaded the thermal paste all over the CPU and it didn't go anywhere apart from CPU.

Here are the things I've tried so far:

* Resetting CMOS

* Tried to boot up with one RAM- stick

* Checking that all cables are correctly plugged. Trust me, many times.

* Tightening & loosening the screws on motherboard and cooler.

Specs:

Intel Core i7 3770k

Palit GTX 1060 6gb

Corsair TX750

32gb DDR3

250gb SSD

1.8 Tb HDD

I dont know the name of my mobo but it's Intel mobo. Thats all I know.

The pressure of the heatsink is going to push the thermal grease outward from the center. If you spread it all over the heatsink it could be that it went in places it should not have. Best to just put a pea size of thermal grease in the center and let the heatsink spread it. I hope that is not the issue.

Another thing, and I hope this is the case, you may have connected the fan to the wrong place. It needs to be connected to the cpu fan header. If it is not the motherboard will sense there is not cooling on the cpu and may not start up.

No, not even the PSU fans.

I also tried to boot with the stock cooler but still nothing.
