Hello everyone

I encountered a problem with my PC 2 days ago, when I turn it on, everything works except for the GPU it doesn't soon and there is no display
I rested the Rams in another PC and they work fine, I rested GPU in another PC and it also works fine but thing is, since I plugged the GPU in another PC now it spins for 2s and then stops and still no display, if the problem was from motherboard it wouldn't start at all no ?

My GPU is R 7 250x xfx
PSU is Corsairs 500w
CPU is and FX 8320
Motherboard is MSI 970a G43

Update now the CPU fan stopped spinning too :s

The best thing to do is see if it will post with a different Graphics Card.

In the mean time, try removing/disconnecting all other components i.e. hard drive(s) DVD roms, additional system fans. Just leave in RAM, CPU fan, and your motherboard power cables, and of course your GPU. Then see if it will post/allow you into bios.

You might want to check each RAM module plugged in individually also (if you have more than one)

If you're successful in posting, this may indicate a power issue on something.

Well you'll need to test with a different graphics card firstly. If still an issue...then it sounds like a PSU or Motherboard fault then. Best check your components on another motherboard with that PSU....if that doesn't boot, then you may need a new PSU.

I understand that there are a lot of things to test here, but that's the nature of diagnosing faults on PCs. :(

If you test it with a different GPU card and it boots, then your PSU is probably to blame.

So you can safely say you've narrowed it down to PSU or else motherboard. One of the two.
