I have i5 4470s, 8gb of ram and a Corsair CX 430W psu. Is that gonna be enough for rx 580 8gb?

Solution

Get the Corsair CX450M instead. The Corsair CX 430W PSU you have is low-quality, rated at only 30C oper. temp., has only 3-year warranty, is already discontinued, and only has 1x 6+2pin PCIe power connector. So, chances are, depending on which specific RX 580 model you select, it will require 1x 6-pin + 1x 8-pin *or* 2x 8-pin connectors (though there are some models that may only require 1x 8pin).

The Corsair CX450M is an updated version of the CX/M series, better-quality, 40C oper. temp rating, 5-year warranty, in-production, and has 2x 6+2pin PCIe power connectors.

Are you 100% sure, because its recommended 500w on amd website. And CX 430w is a bronze

I am 110%. This is a list I threw together: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rWz9d6 - It will only use 368w of power. Notice how an i7 is there instead f your i5. Companies always go over for safe measure or poor quality parts, but you will never go over 400watts with a single GPU.

Do I need to buy another cable (pin) if I am gonna buy a 580?

The cable (pin) comes with the PSU already. This depends on the type of PSU you will get. Lower-quality/lower-amp PSUs only come with less cables, as they are not intended for heavy loads (such as that CX430W). Better-quality/higher-amp PSUs would have ample cables (such as the CX450M) for your basic needs.

You need to check first what RX 580 8GB model you will get in order to determine how many PCIe cables (pins) you need.
