Am I just screwed? Didn't think to check if my mobo was compatible HP doesn't support it anymore past windows 8 and i'm Windows 10. Last Bios update available was 2011.

It's an i7-2600 CPU
650W PSU

Was previously using an AMD 5850

if you have the newest bios, try to disable secure boot in the bios

and turn on legacy mode

if those options are not available, then yeah need to return the card or get a new setup for it

If you have the newest BIOS update available, then yes I'd say your pretty screwed unless you get that motherboard along with the CPU replaced definitely.

It could also be a PSU issue where the PSU isn't giving the GTX 1080 enough power to even be used. I'd recommend getting that replaced as well. ($50 can land you a EVGA B1 Power supply)
