As title says I have a i7 7700 CPU and i have the stock fan that comes with it... My temperatures playing PUBG (Player Unknown Battlegrounds) hits the high 60s low 70s. Most people tell me "oh its fine CPU can hit that high and be okay) well i wanna be sure.

This is the current case i have https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011AJRSK4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If you guys know of any good air fans and or water fans that'll fit that case let me know please

Solution
Get the m9i fitted first & try your current fan in the top mount as an intake first before buying another fan to see if it affects CPU temps for better or worse.

With front to back flowing tower coolers (that m9i fan should be next to the ram) a side intake over the cooler can sometimes actually make things worse depending on how it lines up over the cooler (it can make the CPU fan work harder )

Yeah i did. I have 1 on the back 1 on the side and my one in the front.. I changed the one at the front to be outtake because my side and rear of my case is in a cubby under my desk. I'd like to have something a bit better than the stock if you could recommend something i'd be most gracious

Your case supports CPU Coolers up to 150mm in height.

These two Cryorig coolers are recommended for good-quality/low-noise/affordability:

Cryorig M9i (125mm height)
CRYORIG - M9i 48.4 CFM CPU Cooler ($19.99 @ Amazon)

Cryorig H7 (145mm height)
CRYORIG - H7 49.0 CFM CPU Cooler ($34.99 @ Amazon)

No need for a water-cooling setup for a low TDP CPU such as your i7-7700.

Now does one out perform the other? (The more expensive one i'm assuming WOULD do better since the price is higher). Also would these be a pain putting in with the mobo already in the case?

You should put the front back to an intake really mate - I understand your reasoning but you are better off with more air coming in than being expelled.

With the side fan fitted youre even more limited on cooler height mate.

I would have said the gammaxx 300

https://www.amazon.com/DEEPCOOL-GAMMAXX-300-Heatpipes-Compatible/dp/B007JEMX4Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1497633908&sr=8-1&keywords=gammaxx+300

Im not sure it will fit with the side fan fitted though - it may do but its very very tight.

The gabriel will however defintiely fit.

Yes, the H7 would be better than the M9i (about 3*C to 5*C lower CPU temps)

Your case, based on the photos of the link you provided, has a large cut-out hole at the back of the motherboard (cannot verify this personally, just by the few photos in the amazon link). With that cut-out, you'll have access to the unmounting of your current CPU cooler and installing the new Cryorig CPU cooler without having to take off the mobo in the case.

So out of the ones you linked which would be okay with the case that i have?

All of them will fit

That gammaxx 300 'may need the side fan removing)
The cryorig h7 will definitely need the side fan removing
The deepcool gabriel wont need the side fan removing
The m9i wont need the side fan removing.

WHats going to perform better ? I have no idea ,it depends what kind of airflow you get into that case.
For starters you need to turn that front fan back into an intake.

Once youve done that I think the deepcol gabriel with the side intake fan still fitted will give the relative best performance.
The cryorig h7 is hands down a better cooler but its going to be starved of air without that side intake & I think it will actually perform worse,

So its technically between the M9 and the gabriel. Whether i wanna pay 20 vs 40-60 for it. Which i'll more than likely pick the M9.

Another question.. Whenever i do get this fan how should i go about putting my fans? You already have have the front as intake... Should i do the side(s) outtake and the rear outtake or the rear intake?

Front intake
Side intake
Rear exhaust

I understand your way of thinking regarding putting that front as an exhaust when the case is in a confined space but it just doesn't work like that at all.

The front is the only part of your case that has unrestricted access to air - it needs to be an intake.

As long as you keep bringing air into the case it will exhaust naturally through nooks & crannies in the case itself.
Be aware your PSU fan itself is also acting as an exhaust.
You'll probably drop 5c just by swapping the front one back around.

I appreciate all the help. Ordering the M9i as we speak will see how it goes

Yeah i have it on the bottom facing the GPU. I'm gonna be grabbing another fan soon to put on the top one as well. Should i have both the sides as intake?
