I'm going to be shipping out a PC soon. Fedex seems to charge a fortune to pack+ship it. Any advice how I should pack it? I was thinking about using the case box. Then double box it with a lot of layers of bubble wrap around it. Should I bubble wrap the computer itself or wrap it around the first box? Also, if I bubble wrap it, plus a double box do you think it would prevent it from damage if it's tossed around?

Do you still have the original case box and the foam?

Think of this...
If you order a PC from Dell or HP, how does it arrive? In the case box. No double box, delivered by the exact same person.

Yeah it's air cooled, but with the stock heatsink. I can't really remove the heatsink because the person i'm sending it to knows nothing really about computers. I can remove the GPU, I still have the original case box and foam. Should I still remove the stock heatsink (6 ounces) and leave just the cpu installed? or should it be ok with the stock heatsink?
