I'm buying a used pc, for a fairly low price.
SPECS:
MoBo : GA-990FX-UD3
16 GB RAM DDR3 Corsair
CM 750W PSU
CPU: AMD FX 9370 with Liquid cooler H80 CORSAIR
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 660

So, this is my first time buying a used pc that seems almost complete, just lacks a hard drive. I was wondering, he was using this PC for a while, and I read that the CPU is a volcano. So being the paranoid PC gamer I am, I was considering swapping the 660 in the prebuilt for the 750 ti in my system in order to lower the power consumption.

My question is, is it worth swapping the 750 ti for lower power usage? Is the 660 fine as is or will the PC be a superhot power house? Find out next time on Dragon Ball Z.

You'd be saving about 60W, and giving up a significant amount of performance to do it. You have deliberately purchased a power hungry computer, I don't see the logic in switching out the videocard to save power. It's like buying muscle car with a huge V8 in it then asking what you could do to get good gas mileage.
