Customers mac:
Situation is, they were working on it in ms word using no issues. An apparent icon appeared which you couldn't move, and then it said it wanted to restart the mac.
User restarted and now it just comes up mac os utilities.
Any idea what may have happened?
I cannot see the data using ubuntu or linux mint. I used data recovery software and it is able to view the entire folder structure of the hard drive but under the users name folder it is blank.
It is almost as if there was a reset command sent to the mac over the network.
Thoughts?
I've got to see about getting data back, probably will have to do data recovery!?
