How big is the performence gap between the I5 7500 and Ryzen 5 1600?

I am just curios how my fps would differ in games if I bought the Ryzen5 1600 over the I5 7500. (I will be pairing either one with a 6gb Gtx 1060 EVGA sc). Also, if it makes a difference I would be using 16gb (2*8) of DDR4 3000 mhz ram.

Will my lower end gpu then on the testbench used in that review make the performence gap larger or smaller?

Smaller. The difference in % is the same, but since FPS would be lower, so is the FPS difference.

Ok, thank you. I think I am going to go with the Ryzen5 1600 because of the mostly on par gaming performence and more cores and threads.
