PC Keeps Dieing and I Can Not Figure Out Why

One day I was doing some homework on my PC and then it just shut off on me, and I could not turn it on. The first thing I checked was my PSU. I plugged in a fan and jumped the MOBO cable, all it made was a click. The fan did not turn on, but before I unplugged all the wires from everything else my keyboard still had its lights on. I did a RMA on my PSU and got a new one. I changed the power plug that goes into the PSU and tested the PC on a new outlet and zip strip(i moved it back to the old spot when I was done.). It turned on and worked for 2 days. I came back from class and it would not turn on. I again checked the PSU and it did nothing. So I called out for another RMA. I have that one sitting on the side. I tested it and it works, but I have not hooked it up yet. I do not want to plug it in and have it killed again. I have a new cooler, CPU, RAM, and MOBO coming in a few days, I also ordered new wires for my PSU. I know the wattage is not an issue because it is an 850W running single GPU(a bit overkill, but i was gonna add one or 2 more at some point). The GPU should not be an issue either because I tried to boot it without it plugged in. I just wanna figure out what could have been killing this PC. I do not want to have to deal with all my new components dieing when I put them in. Thank you for anyone who has any input.

Solution
EVGA SuperNova G2 is a great quality PSU that uses Super Flower Leadex platform. Though, even the best fail sometimes.
I can't say why your PSU dies on you and if it's even your PSU's fault (can be MoBo too).

I suggest that you wait the few days once your new CPU-MoBo-RAM combo arrives and plug your third G2 850 to it.
If you've run out of luck with EVGA PSUs then, next time, i suggest you get Seasonic PSU. For great quality Seasonic PSUs, you're looking towards Platinum, X, Snow Silent or PRIME series,
