Here is a picture of the CPU socket in my broke Asus Z97-A

Two questions:
1. PC died last week (no boot, no beep) Could this be the cause? (though not sure how/when the pins bent)
2. Is covered in the Asus warranty?

Solution

No its not covered by the warranty, the way they see it, is it didnt leave the factory like that, so thats end user damage.

however, you can straighten them yourself, you've just got to be careful about it, use a pin or some tweezers and a magnifying glass, be very careful as they are easy to snap off, they dont need to be perfect, just as straight as you can get them without moveing them about too much.

I'll definitely try that
Just wondering if that could be the cause why my PC doesn't boot and motherboard doesn't beep?
