yo wsup skater hater aligator

yesterday i decided to update my bios and drivers since i didnt do it for 2-3 months. after bios update pc restarted with a black screen, within hour of me doing some voodoo shit it started crying that it entered recovery mode and needs the motherboards cd to fix the problem. and it fixed it. but then theres me trying to figure out what was to blame and tried to update bios again.. this time display doesnt even show black screen, just no signal. tried clearing, flashing, switching and most of shit google offered me except sacrificing a child. Now I think my mobo is dead for good, can I ask for another one from retailer? cause as far as I get it mobo got ruined by its own update.

First I have to ask, have you tried clearing the bios with the jumper on the motherboard ?

Next, how did you update the bios ?

And last, im pretty sure that board has bios flashback onit, which allows you to flash the bios even without a CPU or RAM in it. https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?1142-How-to-use-ASUS-ROG-USB-BIOS-Flashback

Yeah i switched the jumper couple times, updated bios with EZ software that came in cd and no i didnt know about usb option but I did that with external dvd reader and support cd that had original bios in it. This didnt work the second time since I dont get a signal from monitor.

Ahh, you shouldnt really update in Windows with software, I know they supply it, but it has a very high failure rate, all you need in the future is a USB stick, format to FAT32, put the bios file on it and reboot to the bios, load bios defaults, save and exit and reboot back to the bios then use the EZFlash app built into the bios itself.

Give the USB flashback thing a try, see if that works.
