Which cpu cooler?

Hi all. i am planning on a new pc and i need to choose between Water cooler or Aircooler. Which quality coolers do you guys recommend? Also it should be good to OC. Its can be both. Also what are the consequences of water?
my case is NZXT H440 matte black / Red.
my cpu is Ryzen 1600x

You dont need a water cooler unless you push for extreme overclocks, in which case you will need a top of the line unit, which are pretty expensive like the Kraken x62 or Thermaltek water Ring. Most other water coolers are pretty much on par with air coolers with an added bling factor, but also the risk of water damage if things go south.
I would suggest a good air cooler like Noctua D15 or Cryorig R1, which performs pretty good.

What about Dark rock pro 3? Would that fit in Am4 mobo=?

Every cooler fits if you have the right bracket. You might have to request for the mounting bracket separately from the the manufacturer, unless they are already shipping it. You will definitely get it free though.
You can also consider the Cryorig R1 as its a better performer around the same price.

Do you know if the DRP3 or R1 comes with it? Ive heard Am2 and Am4 is the same?

Depends on the batch of product they are shipping. The newer batches already include the AM4 brackets. If they ship you a older batch unit, it might not include. It would be wiser if you speak to their customer service and order from the manufacturer directly. Should cost you the same.

The stock amd cooler is that good? for OC and good temps? Also is it better than intels stock
