Nvidia gpu's no longer working after BIOS flash.

I've been browsing the forums for a few hours but I can't seem to find a solution to my problem.
I've been building a multi gpu mining rig for a few days, and I finally got 4/5 gpus (nvidia 1060 6g) working. I read that in order to get the 5th working you had to flash your BIOS and enable multi gpus in the startup menu.
Having done both those, I'm either met with a blank purple screen, or what looks like a low resolution splash page for Ubuntu.
It doesn't look like the system is recognizing any of the gpus now, and I can't figure out why.
My set up is
Msi g5 Intel motherboard
5 nvidia 1060 gpus
1 Intel Pentium 4500 cpu
16g ram
Ubuntu 16.04 is.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Which Nvidia 1060 GPU's did you flash the BIOS on? Please tell me you didn't do all of them, because if so, you just bricked all of the 1060's lol.

If you just did it to the motherboard though (which now reading it more properly, it sounds like this is what you did) then yea. You kinda just screwed up your motherboard. If possible, I'd highly recommend re-flashing the motherboard to the old BIOS because whatever BIOS you just flashed it with obviously doesn't work and isn't intended for it.

Anyways, for the rest of your comment I have no idea how to do anything related to bitcoin mining or anything else of the sort. Never tried/done any of it before.

As for the low resolution splash page, have you tried other Ubuntu installs and see if the problem is still persisting?
