Are the Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz (PC4-24000) C15 and Corsair Vengeance C15 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000 (PC4-24000) compatible? Both are DDR4 and 3000 MHZ so I shouldn't have a problem mounting them on my MSI Z270 GAMING PRO right? Just want to be sure before I purchase new memory, I currently own two of the LPXs at 8gb and looking to get a couple of those C15s.

Hello... it depends on the chips that they used on the RAM sticks... and because of the heat sinks it's hard too tell what are used... it might be best to email Corsair about this... As a general rule you should match the models too for best compatibility with the MB/CPU memory controller at higher speeds/settings and Dual channel operation. B /
