Hi
I've had this computer about 4 years, and it's always been quite good for what it's been asked to do.
The "out of box" spec of the machine was
i3 - 3220 (1155), 4gb ram, 500 gb HDD, onboard HD graphics, windows 8 (64bit)

once it cleared its warranty period, i upgraded:
8gb ram, AMD Radeon HD 6670 (ultra-low profile), windows 10 home premium

ok, so it's struggling a little now with some of the video editing - esp 3d video.
just wondering if any of the following are likely to help, or are theses even feasible as upgrades

16gb ram?
i5 - 3550 (1155) or i5 - 3470s (1155) ?
which ultra low profile graphics car could i upgrade?

ps - i'm looking to upgrade this machine if possible, as the small-form-factor footprint is the reason i use it

thanks in advance

The i5 is going to be better than the i3 for sure, and if you can get a i7, that would be better. Having 16gb of ram will help as well. As for a graphics card, This: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137081 Since you mentioned that it is low-profile for the graphics card, you are fairly limited on what you can use, but the GTX 1050 Ti isn't too bad for a graphics card.

What type of motherboard do you have in it? Do you know what chipset it is?

not sure re: the motherboard. as it was a complete retail ystem when bought.
wiill have a look over the weekend. but if the ram can be doubled (not sure about it) and CPU upgraded - that'll certainly give me a fewmore years' video editing life
