When is RX 470 going down in price?

I heard that AMD and NVIDIA are releasing a new cards only for miners when will that happen? I wanna get Sapphire RX 470 but its either too high in price or sold out. PLEASE HELP

Simple answer is this: it's not going down.
If they price it down the company will lose money on it so they hope a sucker buys it when it's really old. In this case they are extremely popular and the price will even go up now.

RX 570 needs 6+8 power connectors while RX 470 only needs 8-pin power connectors my EVGA 430w only has 6+2 power connectors so RX 570 wont work for me
