I just built my PC with a
-MSI x370 sli plus (latest bios)
-Ryzen 1600 @3.2ghz
-Corsair 3000mhz vengeance ddr4 (16gb)
I have everything running at stock speeds and my ram latency will not go below 75ns. When I tried to enable A-XMP, it wouldn't boot. I can get to 2666 on the ram by going to 1.30v ddr4 voltage (but the latency is still 85ns), however not 3000. I played around with ddr4 voltage and configuring the timing settings on the ram. Nothing worked (to get too 3000mhz, enable AXMP or lower the latency). Thinking about getting a new mobo, or should I stay with this? Im aware ryzen was having problems with compatibility but I didnt know it was this bad lol. Im kind of looking for a motherboard that will 100% support my ram at a decent latency and its advertised speed. If anyone has any ideas to solve my latency issue or a link to a motherboard less than $200
