I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good wired switch that will work well with my Linksys WRT1900ACS router. Hopefully not to expensive and it will be used for a home network. Details below.

I will be using all ports right away on a 5 port so i was thinking of a 6 port switch.

What will be hooked up.
50 foot from router to switch.
PC
Smart TV
PS3
PS4
and possibly a 30 foot cable from the switch to reach my grandpas room. This is if we get him a Smart TV like we was planning so he can use Netflix and possible stream movies from my pc, So basically router then 50 foot cable to the switch then another 30 or so feet to my grandpas room. So 80 feet total on this run.

I do care about speed from PC to PC. I will be transferring files off the pc hooked to the switch to another pc hooked to the main router via another 50 foot cat6 cable. That is 100 foot run total as it is 50 feet to the switch from the router and then 50 from router to pc.

We also have a 100 foot cable that goes from the Linksys router to a Belkin router in a camper behind the house so they can get Wifi in the camper and a short cable to the Smart TV in their camper. that is 150 foot run total. They sometimes stream my files from my pc also.

There is another pc that will also be plugged into the main router but it is a short cable of only 6 feet. The PC, Smart TV, PS3 and PS4 will be hooked up to shorter cables of 4 to 8 feet off the switch as i will be putting the switch in my bedroom. My router ports and all the switch ports will be full once we get my grandpa a Smart TV or some kind of Roku or something.

I am used to my gigabit transfer speed with all machines hooked to the router directly but i don't have enough ports now and tired of unhooking my Playstation and hooking pc up all the time and vice versa as i have to crawl under my desk and try to run the wire back up to Playstation every time.

Last but not least this is strictly a home network and we share files. SMB, windows file sharing, samba Linux. I am worried about how much this will slow down large file transfers since i will be transferring files from a pc hooked to the switch to a pc hooked to the main router.

I shouldn't be using all my stuff at once but at least one person may be streaming netflix that is hooked to the switch and possibly my ps4 that will be hooked to the switch maybe downloading updates while I'm trying to transfer files as i just put it in rest mode so it updates.

Thanks. I was thinking about this one but not sure on how good it is. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833122610 There is a 20 percent off promo code for select switches right now.

Next question since my router has QOS the switch shouldn't need it?

The other switch i was thinking about was this one although it cost more. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124511 What i don't like about the first one is power being opposite of ports. I will be sitting this on a desk cables ports running up from behind it. Ideally i would like lights in front and ports and power in rear.

OK sweet. I will probably go for the cheaper gs308 although now i am considering the gs208 but i hate that it is plastic and may run hotter but i like that it has the ports where i want them thanks very much.
