Will a Core 2 Quad Q8200 bottleneck a Radeon RX 570 ?

Hi,
I have a old system with alright hardware and id like to know would the Redeon RX 570 be bottle necked by a Core 2 Quad Q8200, my pc spec is :

CPU: Core 2 Quad q8200
Ram: 4GB DDR3 1333mhz
Power Supply: 550Watt
Motherboard: Asus p5g41t-m lx2/gb

I can probably change out the CPU to something better on the LGA 775 Socket and power supply if needs be. If anyone can make any recommendations please let me know thanks!

Yes. That old processor will 100% bottleneck the RX 570.
I mean it's from 2008, so..yeah. Hell, intel i3 processors of today would bottleneck it. Anything that's dual core will bottleneck the RX 570.

As for your processor, it's a quad core yes, but performance wise..it's not exactly "great" basically it's worse then a Althon X4 860k, and that's the minimal you'll really need if you don't wanna bottleneck the RX 560-570.

I'm not entirely sure how bad the bottleneck will be, but you'll still get better performance off of it.

If anything, I'd be more worried about how much RAM you have (You said you only had 4GB's, most games nowadays require 8GB's, so please get 8GB's of DDR3 [2x4 specifically])

As for that power supply, I have no idea what brand it is. Please tell me the brand, because if it's bad, you shouldn't even think about installing the RX 570 without getting the power supply replaced 1st.

Yes i have the same CPU. I would suggest a 1050 or ti and get another stick of ram so you got 8 gbs.
