Hello everyone! And I will get right into the subject!

My current PC speccs:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955

RAM: 8,00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 803MHz (11-11-11-28)

Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. GA-880GM-UD2H (Socket M2)

Graphics: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 (ASUStek Computer Inc)

Storage:111GB SanDisk SDSSDHII120G ATA Device (SSD) , 465GB Seagate Portable USB Device (USB (SATA))

And I experience FPS issues in some online games I play :/. Unfrotunately for me, what I like most in gaming is large-scale PvP or PvE battles and as far as I know this aspect actually requires really solid builds! Lately I also got a bit into sandbox/survival online games and most of them are not properly optimized...

Thus there are many times that I face FPS issues! In some games whenever there are people around me, my pc really starts to "lag" and get a drop on FPS. Even if the graphics are on maximum low! (generally I don't have problem with ping/ms)

And I don't know what I have to replace... I believe that my CPU and GPU are borderline decent for what I wanna do... So I'm not sure! My budget is a bit "unstable" now... I've spent some money to book a trip to Italy (yaaaay) and I might go to another destinations later in summer. Also have in mind that I'm greek and money here is rather... rare :).

I think that during the summer months I will have ~200euro to invest and maybe another ~200 after it. Apparently I will go for vacations but also will be gaming during summer!

So any suggestions/ideas from either experienced or not so members are highly appreciated!

Also keep in mind that I have some discounts on ebay, so if you find solutions there it's better.

Thank you for your time!!

Sorry for German, but I needed Eur prices. Cpu I'd do just for the extra little bit of power and the 2 extra cores, they'll...

Upgrade gpu, possibly the psu to accommodate.
Upgrade your cpu cooler and get some decent OC on the cpu. As said, the 955 isn't bad, but is lacking in pure horsepower that many games are requiring. To upgrade the cpu would realistically mean a motherboard and ram upgrade, which isn't in the budget. U less you shopped on ebay for something like a Phenom II x6 1055t or close.

For the budget you have now there is not much you can do to improve the system. Your CPU is about the max you can get for the platform, and the video card is a decent match.

If you want, replace the video card with a 1060 video card or a 1050 Ti, then upgrade the CPU/Motherboard. If you go for a last generation Intel i5 with a 1150 socket you can re-use your RAM.

Are you running programs off that USB drive? That will cause slowdowns.

Thank you for the answers!

Unfortunately I've found out the discounts I have at ebay only apply to buying items around/less than ~250e :/.

Anyway, your post was rather enligheting hang-the-9. And yes, I'm using the external USB drive to play games because I dont have enough space on my SSD. I may have enough space for just one game but currently I'm in a phase that I'm trying different games each time. I think if I decide to focus on one I will move it to SSD.

At ebay I've found these:

What do you suggest?

And apart from the GPU,regarding further upgrade for CPU/motherboard, do you have any suggestions that suit my situation?

Sorry for German, but I needed Eur prices. Cpu I'd do just for the extra little bit of power and the 2 extra cores, they'll help out in multiple thread heavy games like BF1 and gta:v.
The 1050ti would be a good match and fits in the budget, a better gpu would be the 1060,but that's the whole budget, and then some.
The hdd simply because pulling games via USB 2.0 is gonna kill data flow and you are limited as is with cpu power.
With a limited ssd, first thing I'd get rid of is hibernation, totally. It's only @6Gb, but that's wasted space you need.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/819-hibernate-enable-disable.html
Works on any windows OS. Use option 1.
Youll want to keep the SSD to a maximum of @70Gb or so used space or you'll start slowing that down too.
Use CCleaner (piriform.com) and keep junk files and registry clean.
You want as streamlined a system as possible, any software or hardware causing any kind of slowdown needs adjusting, fixing, tossing.
