Only 24 GB of RAM are recognized out of 32 GB

So I have 8 sticks x 4GB of GSkill Ripjaws DDR4 RAM. They've been working great for the last year and a half but about a month ago only 24GBs are being recognized anymore. Same in BIOS and in Windows10 - 24 GB. If I run CPU-Z it correctly shows 32 GBs though.

Things that I've tried

Reseating all RAM (they all work individually)
Reinstalling BIOS

It looks like whatever 2 sticks I seat last don't end up working, For example: I seat my RAM in A B and C slots first and everything works fine. 2 sticks in D channel don't end up working. Also I tried seating them in B C and D slots first and guess what... RAM in A slot wasn't recognized this time around. It's very weird and I don't understand what could be the cause of it.

if he is illing all the slots there is no sequence to follow, 8 ram sticks of 4 gbs each fills al 8 slots, is not like he did something wrong, it decided to stop working, so buy another mainboard or rma as said before if out of warranty

EIGHT sticks I assume would occupy EVERY slot. It's flat out a motherboard problem likely since he's already swapped memory sticks to confirm they work.

He's go two choices:
1) RMA the board
2) Avoid the two slots in question and stick with 24GB of system memory

Do you even USE more than 24GB of system memory?

I've got 16GB and never, ever in almost five years use more than 11GB.

(CPU-Z is probably not showing usable memory, but rather just detecting the sticks and adding up the amount of memory that should be available)

It is useful with SSD Rapid Mode enabled. Like I said whichever slots I install last the RAM end up not working. It can be either A B C or D channel - wherever I install the sticks last these slots just refuse to work. It's quite a known issue with x99 boards but no simple solution
