Hi, i have a gaming pc with the components below:

I5 7600k (oc to 4.9Ghz)
Msi gtx 1060
Asus Rog z270e motherboard
Corsair h100i cpu cooler
Fsp hyperk 500w

I can normally hit about 200fps on csgo but when i try to stream the game or record it, it comes out laggy and has a bad quality. So i was wondering if my cpu is not capable of recording/streaming or am i doing the recording/streaming wrong (i recorded at 720p 60fps)

Thx

Negative, you have good hardware. Most people don't use Steam's recording, nor Windows 10's Xbox recording (it really does a bad job at recording 60FPS for me). You have to adjust the settings for the recording to alter quality and so on, but I never found the settings section for it within steam.

Why not try Nvidia's Shadow Play (via the GeForce Experience)? If you have GeForce Experience installed, hit ALT along with Z to begin recording and test it. It has been said to have very minimal impact in terms of usage. Altering the settings for it is quite easy as well. You can do it in-game after pressing ALT and Z easily by clicking the center button (RECORD) and then Customize from the dropdown below.
