PSU to run Gtx550TI+Gtx560se

Solution
If you do it right, it is fine to run the system on one PSU and the gfx cards on another. 500W for just the gfx cards might be marginal depending on which 500W PSU it is. If it is a good quality PSU, it should be OK.

The two cards together (maxed out) are 266W TDP. http://www.hwcompare.com/10975/geforce-gtx-550-ti-vs-geforce-gtx-560/
That is roughly the equivalent to running a single R9-390X (275W TDP) http://www.hwcompare.com/20358/radeon-r9-390x-8g/

The 390X requires a 700W PSU http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm

However, Will both cards ever be maxed out at the same time? If not, you can probably go with a lesser PSU. But be sure it is a high quality unit. No cheapies.
