Hey guys,

Looking for some help here, basically, after around an hour of playing Rocket League, I start to get FPS drops from around 170 to 10 FPS that last for a split second. Enough to be incredibly annoying but not enough to really figure out what is actually happening...

Specs
Intel i7 5820K (Was overclocked, however, turned to default during troubleshooting & Hyperthreading Disabled)
2 Asus Strix 1070 in SLI with NVidia HB bridge (Was overclocked, turned to default as above)
MSI Gaming 7 X99A
16gb Corsair LPX RAM (Not overclocked)
The game is installed on m.2 Samsung NVME 950 Pro with Windows also installed here.

This is a recent reinstall of Windows (Did not have the problem prior to reinstalling), drivers are up to date.

Thermals
Graphics cards are 55 and 65 degrees Celsius when lag occurs
Processor is 55 also so shouldn't be any thermal throttling (when running stress tests max temps are 80 across each component)

And idea what might be going on? I get some serious lag when I open up the options menu as well which made me think it may be an issue with the storage device?

Solution
run your antivirus/malware program to ensure you dont got any shit on your pc.
I had some microsturrering a while back. Turned out to be a malware that started running when I started any game.
