i have a laptop-hp430-----------32bit
windows 7 ultimate
my laptop cant read dvds when i put a dvd in its pannel it cant read mean in my computer section it shows blank pannel it double click to play dvd the pannel opens again and "insert a disc "
appears

Have you tested different types of disks? - CDs, DVDs, audio disks etc? Do all fails to read? If yes, then your optical drive is toast, the lens may be dirty or scratched and can't read any disks at all.
