Hey!

In Battlefield 1 my Fps has been about 10-30 with low, medium, high or ultra settings. i have updated my gpu drivers and i have checked my gpu and cpu usages which were both at 100%
and my cpu temps were +/- 60C. My cpu core speed was 4.2 ghz and voltage 1.225 which were both normal. Same Fps with fullscreen and windowed also. I have also tried turning the gpu memory lock thingy on and off but still no changes in fps and i have Dx 12 enabled at the moment.

My specs are:
asus z97 pro gamer
intel pentium g3258 4.2ghz
asus r9 285 2gb 954mhz
8gb of RAM
windows 10 (64bit)

Any ideas what the problem/problems might bee?
And sorry for bad english :)

When you change most settings, you are affecting the workload on the videocard, not the CPU. Therefore, if settings changes have no effect on framerate, this means your videocard is not what's holding you back.

If your CPU is already at maximum performance, then it doesn't matter if you lower the workload on the videocard.

In addition, it's been known since the game came out that BF1 really needs a lot of CPU power. A dual core just isn't enough for that game. You have a dual core. Your clockspeed is irrelevant in any game that needs more cores. You can't compensate for lack of cores by overclocking.

The good news is that your 285 should be enough for the game, once you have a quad core. You might not be able to play it at 1080p...

My guess is you are connecting HDMI and are dropping to 30 MhZ what is your resolution and refresh rate?
Turn Vsync off and scaling to 42%
