Do you already have the FX-8350? If so an MSI 970 Gaming would be fine and about as low as you should go with an FX-8350. If not, I wouldn't definitely not go the AM3+ motherboard/FX CPU route. Their day has long past. Invest in an Intel Kaby Lake or AMD Ryzen setup.
